Kaysville Main Street and 200 North Improved
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will begin roadway improvements on SR-273, including sections of 200 North and Main Street in Kaysville. This will begin May 5th, 2025.
The project includes:
- Pedestrian ramp upgrades to meet ADA standards
- Roadway signage updates
- Pavement resurfacing
- US-89 bridge deck rehabilitation
Project completion is expected by Fall 2025.
Schedule and Construction Impacts
Pedestrian Ramp and Roadway Signage Upgrades
- Work will begin during the week of May 5.
- Crew will be finishing previous work which began last fall to upgrade pedestrian sidewalk ramps at various intersections along Main Street and 200 North to meet ADA standards.
- Construction will require roadway shoulder and sidewalk closures.
SR-273 (Main St. & 200 N.) Resurfacing
- Paving is expected to begin early Spring 2025 and be completed by Fall 2025.
- Paving operations will occur at night and will include lane closures. This work will be conducted between the hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- On-street parking will not be permitted during construction activities. Those who don't comply, may be towed at the owners' expense.
- Residents should expect night-time noise and vibrations.
Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) construction activities resuming in spring 2025 along the SR-273 corridor (Main Street and 200 North) in Kaysville and Fruit Heights.
Schedule
Work is beginning May 5, 2025.
Work is being conducted at night between the hours of 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.
This project is expected to be complete by Fall 2025.
