Artwork created through the City’s Public Art Process must first go through SASpeakUp community engagement to determine the artwork’s theme and other important design aspects. This engagement is quantified through a SASpeakUp survey which provides critical information for artist selection and design.

Survey open date: July 7, 2025

Survey close date: August 4, 2025

The City of San Antonio’s Department of Arts & Culture has identified the Culebra Road project as an opportunity for public art. This project is part of the 2022 Bond Program. The Department of Arts & Culture is at the beginning stages of this public art project. We need your input on important design features of the artwork you’d like to see at the intersection of Culebra Rd and Rollins Ave.

Please fill out the questions to share your input on what themes you would like to see explored in the sculpture’s design.
